Pass kontrol
B38
Dedicated to one of the greatest buslines that runs from Ridgewood to Downtown Brooklyn, B38 was the album of songs that produced sweat and catharsis on dusty dance floors all over Bushwick. Boasting blazing-hot hits like “Twins”, “I’m All Alone” and “Sleazy Grind”, B38 was a rallying call to a community of friends who loved to get together and be cool to each other.
MASK PARTY
Prophetic in ways never imagined, Mask Party is a brutal look into the veins of the city. Recorded at Miner Street Studios in Philadelphia and mixed by John Lowe (The National, Tookie Palookie, Scrum Fungers).
MASPETH
A sonic journey into DIY/bedroom pop. Maspeth’s answer to the Beatles’ White Album. Less John, Paul, George, and Ringo. More Oliver, Adam, Tony and Mike.
NEW HOPE CITY
Pass Kontrol creates a sci-fi rock opera about a crew of weirdo-rebels who broadcast pirate-radio in a city ruled by corporate interests and mood-enhancers. “New Hope City” had a critically acclaimed run at the Bushwick Starr. This is the soundtrack.
ONDERDONK
Written and recorded in the attic of the oldest Dutch Colonial stone house in New York City built in 1661. The Onderdonk House sits on two acres of land, which is home to the epic battle for the border of Brooklyn and Queens. The Arbitration Rock stands as the peace finally brokered between two the mightiest boroughs New York City has ever seen.
